This page is the official, up-to-date source for referral rules. The app may show a short summary only. We may update this page without submitting a new app version to the App Store or Google Play.
1. Overview
Pet Sitter Report offers an optional referral program. Referral codes are issued by our app and server — they are not Apple App Store or Google Play promo codes unless we say otherwise in writing.
Rewards are Pro subscription benefits delivered through the App Store or Google Play. Entering a code queues free Pro month(s) in the app. You stay on the Free plan until you choose to claim. Claiming uses the store’s subscription flow (including auto-renewal terms).
2. How it works
- Open Rewards → Get referral code and share the one-time code.
- Your friend enters it under Enter a code.
- If valid, both of you earn 1 queued free Pro month (up to program limits).
- When ready, tap Claim free Pro month → App Store or Google Play confirms the subscription (first month free where configured).
- Additional queued months apply one billing cycle at a time on future renewals.
3. Rewards
Free users (referrer and referee)
- Each successful referral queues 1 free Pro month for both people.
- You may stay on the Free plan — claiming is optional.
- Claiming starts or extends Pro through the store (not a server-only unlock).
- After the free month, the subscription renews at the regular price unless you cancel in the App Store or Google Play.
Pro subscribers (referrer)
- Each successful referral queues 1 free renewal month on your existing Pro subscription.
- Total free renewal months from referrals are capped at 24 months per subscriber.
- Free months follow your store billing cycle (usually the same calendar day each month). If that day does not exist in a month (for example January 31 → February 28 or 29), the store uses the nearest valid date.
- You may need to confirm a $0.00 subscription change when a promotional offer is applied.
4. Limits and eligibility
- 6 successful referrals per calendar month per referrer.
- 24 free Pro months total per account (earned + queued).
- One referee bonus per person: you may enter someone else’s referral code only once, ever, on a given device record we hold.
- No self-referral: you cannot use your own code.
- Referral codes are one-time use.
5. Device changes
If you change phones or reinstall the app, queued referral months tied to your previous device record may not transfer. Pro subscriptions may be restored with Restore purchases in Settings.
6. Changes, suspension, and store policies
We may change, suspend, or end the referral program at any time, including when Apple or Google change subscription or promotional-offer rules.
Referral codes may stop working if we suspend the program, if our servers are unavailable, or if store policies prevent delivering Pro rewards. We update this web page first when rules change.
7. Abuse
We may deny or revoke referral rewards if we reasonably believe you are abusing the program.
